Nonprofits are on the leading edge of cloud technology adoption, attracted by the overall efficiency, collaborative capabilities, mobile support and lower overhead costs that meld seamlessly with the way that a nonprofit runs. In a 2012 survey of 10,000 nonprofits by TechSoup, 90% had adopted cloud technology in some way—from email and file sharing/storage to productivity and CRM applications.
