Due to all of this being unexpected, as you could probably imagine, it came as something of a shock though I have been fortunate enough to have a highly supportive family who have rallied around to help me during this time. Also, I have been totally overwhelmed and appreciative of the fantastic support from friends, work colleagues, my employer (EMC) and readers of my blog – to you all, a massive thank you! It has made all the difference in keeping my spirits up and maintaining a sense of humor during this difficult time. As with most “life adventures” it has provided a good opportunity to assess and re-align my priorities. I have also started eating more healthily and intend exercising more, once the fatigue from the treatment subsides. One thing has continued to remain throughout all of this and that is my enjoyment and passion for the IT industry in which I work and play in, and the associated tech products. This is something that continues to remain strong with me and is an important part of my day to day life.

Well, you may (or may not 
) have noticed that it’s been a while since I wrote my last blog post. The past few months have certainly been “interesting” for me as I’ve been working through a unexpected health scare. After undergoing treatment I am now popping out the other side of things with only a final PET CT scan standing between me and hopefully being given a clean bill of health. Fingers crossed!
I am now ready to head back to the online world once again as my energy levels slowly return so am REALLY looking forward to starting to blog and re-immerse myself back into the vWorld. Once again, thank you so much to all of you that have been in contact during this time and to those of you who take the time to read my blog. I look forward to chatting to you again online.
