…the value of management—no, make that leadership—is higher than ever.” CRN, The Top 100 Executives of 2013

Having an executive on CRN magazine’s Top 100 Executives list says something about a company and that executive. Having three executives on the list? Now we’re talking caliber of a company’s leadership and the value of its programs.

Welcome to EMC, where we’re toasting executives Joe Tucci, Erez Webman, and Gregg Ambulos for being honored as influencers, innovators, and leaders on CRN Magazine’s Top 100 Executives of 2013. Overall, these awards are a testament toEMC’s success in the channel and the success you can have by partnering with us.

The North American publication’s annual Top 100 Executives list rates leaders in the industry who have played the biggest role in impacting and influencing in the channel. EMC leaders appeared in three categories: Joe is named in the Top 25 Most Influential category, Erez in the Top 25 Innovators category and Gregg in the Top 25 Sales Leaders category.

As CEO, Joe Tucci has overseen and managed the rapid growth of EMC since 2001.Through Joe’s leadership, EMC has made the channel a priority across all business units and all sales. With revenue of over $21 billion in 2012, Joe recognizes that a robust channel program is required for future success.

New to EMC, Erez Webman is the CTO and Chief Architect of the Server Storage Software Group. Erez was the founder and CTO of ScaleIO, acquired by EMC this past July, and he brings his wealth of flash technology knowledge to EMC’s software-defined storage platform. Industry analyst Gartner estimates that, in 2014, flash will be a $1.7B market worldwide. Erez and his team will help EMC partners get a nice piece of that pie.

As Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales, Gregg leads EMC’s go-to-market strategy for channel and distribution partners.  In his commitment to a consistent channel program across theaters, Gregg has initiated several new partner programs to strengthen EMC’s channel. In fact, over 50% of EMC’s storage revenue goes through partners, and this revenue continues to grow at a faster rate than our overall storage revenue.

Congratulations to Joe, Erez, and Gregg and here’s to another year of success in the channel!
