One of the really cool things about working at EMC is there is ALWAYS room So, what is as Software Defined/ASD SE? Well, it’s the leading edge of EMC’s go to market around the Software Defined Datacenter. Specifically It’s responsible for our Software Defined Storage strategy, as well the key part of a Software Defined Datacenter, the trending, monitoring and reporting of both Virtual and Physical assets inside the datacenter. It covers products like our Storage Resource Management Suite (SRM – but not THAT SRM) as well as the newest edition to the conversation, ViPR. This SE is responsible for articulating how each of these interacts with each other, and why it’s important! This is a role that allows you to keep your technical hands a little dirty with things like simple POC’s and crazy cool demo’s of how everything works well together. Not to mention, this is a very Senior Divisional level role, so keep that in mind. If you are looking for the next step in your career, this might be the perfect role for you ! If you think you would like to explore this role more, I’d direct your e-mail and resume to Chris Campbell (Chris.Campbell2@emc.com as well as on Twitter – @Columbo1993 )– EMC Recruiter to get your name into the system. If you have any questions, it shouldn’t be difficult to figure out how to contact me. Thanks, Tommyt |
